Today i dedicate my post to students who want to study in the USA and pursue bachelor degree.Here are some important information you should know.
Things you should consider when choosing the right school for you.
1.Academic programs(make sure your desired majors and minors are in the list of academic programs)
2.Total tuition(student organization fees,books,health service,food,and so on)
3.Whether the school is accredited or not!
4.Financial aid opportunities(average financial aid package)
5.Location (weather,environment)
6.Student organizations,clubs
7.Faculty
8.Application deadlines
9.Type of school: public,private,catholic,men's,women's and so on
10.Application requirements(test score,recommendation,etc)
11.Diversity (international students)
12.School reputation
13.Campus life
14.Overall interest to this school :-D
If you want to be admitted and offered to scholarships(undergraduate) :
-Score of 80-115 on IBT
-Score of 1500-1800 on SAT. for financial aid : score of 1700-2300
-Excellent personal statement/admission essay
-Good recommendation letters
-Completed application on time or early
-International student supplement forms
-High school transcripts/notarized and translated into English
-good records of  extracurricular activities
-Certain school's online or printed application form
-Financial certification/bank statement
Generally scholarships are awarded based on your SAT score and your application package.Note that schools choose their student not only by academic achievements but also personality.
When applying to Colleges and universities ,there will be many difficulties where you don't know what to do.In this case,working with educational center is a good way to succeed.

TOEFL(Test of English as a Foreign Language)

TOEFL is a standardized test designed to measure ability to understand and to use English at an academic level.TOEFL test is made and administered by the ETS (Educational Testing Service),a private,non-profit company located in Princeton,New Jersey.TOEFL is accepted more than 8000 colleges and institutions in over 130 countries.

Until 1998,TOEFL test was based on paper and then called Paper-based TOEFL(PBT).Sometimes called institutional TOEFL.PBT has three sections such as Reading,Listening,and Sentence structure.PBT score ranges between 360-677.

in 1998,Paper-based TOEFL was changed into Computer-based test which people take test using computer.CBT has four sections such as reading,listening,writing and sentence structure.CBT score ranges between 0-300.

Finally in 2005,The new design of TOEFL test is created which is called IBT(internet-based test).Although CBT and PBT  were well standardized tests,students who took CBT with high scores could not speak in English well.Therefore ETS designed IBT including reading,writing,listening and speaking sections.IBT score ranges between 0-120.

Reading section contains 3-5 passages,and each passage has 12-14 questions(60-100 min)

Listening section consists of 2-3conversations and 4-6 lectures,and each con/lecture has 5questions(60-90min)

Mandatory break (10min)

Speaking section has 6 tasks : 2 independent tasks (talk about familiar topics) (20min)

                                              4 integrated tasks(summarize main points in lecture,passage)

Writing section has two tasks :1integrated task (write an essay based on listening lecture and reading passage)

                                               1independent task (write an essay on a familiar topic) (50min)

EARC

Hi all.Today I am gonna describe about Educational Advising Resource Center(EARC).

EARC was officially established as non government organization in May,2003..You may ask what's the purpose of this organization.Well,The purpose of EARC  is to disseminate advice and information about scholarships,chances to study abroad especially to USA,and support students who want to study abroad.

It is located in Sukhbaatar district,Ulaanbaatar.But it does not mean that EARC only helps people in the UB.EARC has several branches such as in Darkhan,Erdenet,Umnu-Gobi ,Dornod,and in Howd.Then I hope that other branches of EARC will be located in all of the other provinces of Mongolia.There are plenty of  opportunities to study abroad for Mongolians.But the problem is that all people ,who wish to study abroad, can't get enough information of the scholarships and opportunities to study abroad.EARC is established to solve this problem and has been  working for 8years.

If you become EARC member :

• You can use all kind of books at our EARC  library (SAT,TOEFL,History,Literature,Math,science....etc)

•     make an appointment for individual or other advising

•     use EARC computers to connect to internet

•     get all important information about scholarship,programs,and standardized tests(GRE,SAT,TOEFL)

•     Free wireless connection

•     Speaking club

If you want to become member of our center ,bring 4000₮(EARC annual membership fee) ,your ID (иргэний үнэмлэх),and your photo with you at EARC office .Then a week later,You will have ID that verifies that you are the member of EARC.You will use your card to get our center's services and  to enter to EARC

EARC also has its own training center called HORIZON.Horizon training center has several courses:
Pre-intermediate,Intermediate,Upper-intermediate ,TOEFL, SAT ,GRE  and so on.Our center also organize several programs that are useful for students who want to study abroad.Access micro-scholarship program,USAP and so on.

Walter Ray Allen was born on 20th of July 1975.He currently plays  for Boston Celtics as a shooting guard.Ray Allen has been drafted by Minnesota Timber-wolves with the fifth pick from the university of Connecticut in 1996.He had played three different NBA teams such as Milwaukee Bucks ,Seattle Supersonics and the Boston Celtics.

Though Allen was firstly drafted by Minnesota Timber-wolves,He was immediately traded to Milwaukee Bucks.Allen had played for 7 years between 1996-2003 for Milwaukee Bucks.His most successful accomplishment is that he had won NBA All-star three point shoot-out in 2000-2001 season.
At Seattle,Ray had became a Superstar by his amazing performances.
-He become 97th player who had scored 15000 points on 12th of March
-He was listed only after Reggie Miller on the NBA list of a three-point field goals made on 7th of April,2006
-12th of January,2007 ,Ray Allen has scored  his career high 54 points in the game Seattle against Utah  


After he had been traded to Boston Celtics on 28th of June 2007,Ray become  one of the Celtics Big Three including Kevin Garnett,Paul Pierce and himself.At Boston Celtics Ray Allen also achieved many individual accomplishments.
-on 17th of June 2008,Ray Allen has made seven three-point field goals against Los Angelos Lakers.He also broke the record for three-pointers made in a NBA Finals series with 22, elapsing the previous record of 17 by Dan MajerleDerek Harper.
-on 22th of February ,Making 72 consecutive free throws,Ray Allen broke Boston Celtics franchise record in consecutive free throws which was made previously  by Larry Bird (71).
-On December 10, 2009, Allen scored 18 points to reach the 20,000 point total for his career.
-On 6th of June 2010,Allen set the record for most three-pointers made in an NBA Finals game by making 8three-point field goals during the NBA finals game 2 versus Los Angelos Lakers.
-During a game against the Los Angeles Lakers on 10th of February , 2011, Allen became the all-time NBA leader in total 3-point field goals made (2,561), passing Reggie Miller's record of 2,560. 
- In the 2010-11 season Allen was named to his tenth All-Star game.
Acting Career
In 1998, Allen co-starred film He Got Game as high school basketball phenomenon Jesus Shuttles worth.  His role as Shuttlesworth earned him the nickname "Jesus" from teammates and fans.
Allen also appeared as Marcus Blake in the 2001 film Harvard Man.
Allen' s Family
The Allen Family consists of Ray, Shannon, Tierra, Walter and Walker.  They currently live in Boston, Massachusetts. . Shannon ,who is Ray's wife ,gave birth to her and Ray's children Tierra(daughter), Walter(son), and Walker Allen(son). Flo Allen too,who is Allen' s mother.

Kind of love story

Hey I think i hadn't been on my blog for a long time so i decided to post again.But this time it will be story.please note that  it is not written by me.

10th grade

As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called "best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

11th grade
The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broke her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep. She looked at me, said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Senior year
The day before prom she walked to my locker. My date is sick" she said; he's not going to go well, I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as "best friends". So we did. Prom night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step. I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I want her to be mine, but she isn't think of me like that, and I know it. Then she said "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Graduation Day
A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, "you're my best friend, thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

A Few Years Later
Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl is getting married now. I watched her say "I do" and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said "you came!". She said "thanks" and kissed me on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Funeral
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my "best friend". At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read: I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me! `I wish I did too...` I thought to my self, and I cried

Note that it is
